The Covenant

This month I want to learn more about the covenant that God talks about in the Bible. I never truly understood it. So, I wanted to dive more into it.

First, let’s define covenant. A covenant is an agreement between God and his people in which God makes certain promises and requires certain behavior from us in return.  It is a two-way promise.  When we enter a covenant with God, we promise to keep his commandment, and in return God will keep his. Through-out the bible, the different covenant that God made is the framework of how the bible is put together. God makes covenant with different people like Abraham (Abrahamic Covenant), Noah (Noahic Covenant), Moses: people of Israel (Mosaic Covenant), David (Davidic Covenant) and the New Covenant. I am not going to focus on these different covenants. However, research them for mor understanding. We are going to talk about the, God covenant with us, New Covenant, and the covenant of protection
