March Scriptural Plans

March Scriptural Plans

March Scriptural Reading & Writing Plans

As a woman of faith, we have biblical keys to make our lives successful. God has given us the blueprint to live a successful live. But the question we need to ask ourselves is this “What is success, and what does success looks like for us?”  We all will have different answers to this question. Take out your notebooks or journals and begin to write the answer to this question before getting started.

Do you know that God want us to be successful in life? He wants to give us the desires of our hearts (Psalms 37:4). He wants us to reach the goals that we have written down in our planners or journals. He wants us to thrive in life.

We are going to look at some of our words of the Year and allow God to guide through His word. The words are thrive, consistent, connection, and alignment(align).

The first word that we are going to study is THRIVE.  The definition of thrive is to grow vigorously and to prosper. As I was studying, I found that Village Bible Church had a sermon about “Are you surviving or thriving?” Powerful! In the teaching, it stated that the word thriving means living a life of abundance and loving live. We are called to thrive not just survive because we are followers of Jesus Christ. Do you agree?

Let us first seek out the scriptures for Thrive(flourish)

  1. Proverbs 2:1-5 (listen to wisdom)
  2. Proverbs 11:25 (Be a giver)
  3. Proverbs 16:3 (Trust God)
  4. Proverbs 16:20 (Learn from experiences)
  5. Proverb 19:8 (Be good to yourself)
  6. Psalm 128:2 (You get what you work for)
  7. Mark 10:27 (God can do anything)
  8. Ecclesiastes 5:19 (Gift for God)
  9. Isaiah 44:4 (You will be successful)

Let’s take a look at what God says in his Word about “Consistent”.  The definition of consistent is the act or doing something the same way over time, unchanging in nature, standard, or effect over time.

Jesus said “Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me” (John 15:4). The key word in this scripture is abide which means to endure without yielding, to continue in place, to remain stable. The consistency is the key to living a successful life.

Let’s dive into the scriptures:

  1. I Corinthians 15:58 (Stand Strong)
  2. I Corinthians 14:20 (Change your mindset)
  3. I John 2:27 (Your gift is already in you)
  4. Ephesians 4:1 (God choose You)
  5. Hebrews 10:23 (Hold on to Hope)
  6. Hebrews 13:8 (Jesus never changes)
  7. James 1:4 (Be patient)
  8. Malachi 3:6 (Lord is always the same)
  9. Philippians 1:27 (Stand together)

After we have learned how to thrive and be consistent, now it is time to make a connection to success. Let’s first look at a definition.  A connection is a relationship in which a person, thing, or idea is linked or associated with something else.  The biblical meaning of connection is what we are made for, deep down, at the core of our being (Bible project blog).

Let's find our connection through these scripture:

  1. Proverbs 27:17 (Iron sharps iron)
  2. I John 5:4 (We have the power to Win)
  3. John 3:16-17 (Our connection is through Jesus Christ)
  4. Hebrews 13:5-6 (Deep connection to God)
  5. Leviticus 19:18 (Connection through forgiveness)
  6. John 14:6 (Jesus is the Connection to God)
  7. John 13:34-35 (Love is the connection

As we are ending our reading for the month, we are now moving into alignment of what we have studied so far. But first, lets talk about the definition.  Align/Alignment is the arrangement in a straight line or a position of agreement or alliance. The meaning of alignment in the bible is submitting to God’s wisdom and that we are connect through our thoughts, life-decision, and through our direction in life.

Are you ready to align your life and begin to be successful in life?

  1. Romans 12:1 (Give your Lives to God)
  2. Romans 12:2 (Let God change you)
  3. Romans 8:28 (Everything works together)
  4. James 1:22 (Be doers)
  5. Proverbs 4:23 (Change your mindset)
  6. James 4:8 (Draw near to God)

Be Blessed
